From Cuyutlán to your table

In Colima, salt isn’t a finishing touch-it’s part of the everyday. You’ll find it on tables at the best restaurants, and just as naturally at the corner bar with a cold beer and a small bowl of nuts. SAL MAR is inspired by that salt culture: simple, essential, and always within reach.

Salt is life in Colima
Harvested in Cuyutlán by sun & hand

Our salt comes from Cuyutlán, Colima, where sea water is guided into traditional salt pans and left to the coastal sun and wind. As crystals form, they’re gathered by hand, dried naturally, and kept unrefined for clean flavor and texture. It’s not industrial salt and it’s not a “brand story” - it’s how salt is made here.
